About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax preparation and compliance, a strong background in U.S. accounting, and a proven track record in leadership, regulatory standards, and client relationship management.


This role requires exceptional analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Tax Preparation & Compliance: Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses, utilizing Intuit ProConnect Tax Software for tax preparation and filing.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage a team of tax preparation professionals, setting performance expectations and monitoring team performance.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, reviewing tax returns with clients and providing guidance, maintaining effective communication with a diverse client base.
Requirements
  • CPA license is required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of U.S. accounting experience, with a focus on tax preparation and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Intuit ProConnect Tax Software - preferred but not required.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. tax laws and accounting standards.
