Job Title: Data Pipeline Specialist

  • The role involves designing, developing and maintaining data pipelines using Microsoft Azure services.

About the Role

  • We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer who can develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks).
  • You will be responsible for organizing and managing data pipeline outputs with Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Blob Storage.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and architects to deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
  • Ongoing maintenance of data pipelines to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Ensuring data quality and integrity through validation techniques.
  • Documenting data processes, configurations, and best practices.
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving data pipeline issues.
  • Managing the CI/CD process for data solutions deployment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles, with strong experience in ETL processes.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Blob Storage, and Data Lake.
  • Proficient in SQL (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) for efficient querying.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering principles (CI/CD, version control, testing).
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark) and Python (preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
