Job Profile

A seasoned Banking Expert is required to lead business analysis initiatives in Core Banking systems. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in Data Lake platforms such as Databricks, alongside a strong understanding of banking processes and data modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough planning and execution of business analysis activities across multiple workstreams
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements
  • Translate banking business needs into technical specifications for data lake solutions
  • Work closely with data engineering teams to design and validate Databricks-based pipelines and analytics workflows
  • Analyse core banking processes and identify opportunities for data-driven optimization
  • Support data governance, lineage, and quality initiatives across banking datasets
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder reviews, and UAT sessions
  • Create process maps, data flow diagrams, and business requirement documents
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies related to data and banking systems
  • Prepare executive-level reports and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations
Required Expertise

The successful candidate should have:

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in banking or financial services with a focus on business analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Finance, or related field
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, or similar data lake technologies
  • Strong understanding of Core Banking systems (e.g., CASA, Lending, Payments)
  • Familiarity with data modelling, ETL pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms
  • Proficiency in SQL, JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Power BI
