About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Utility Senior Engineer to lead detailed inspections of overhead utility infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, contributing to process improvements within the electric utility sector, and providing technical leadership to support project success. Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading detailed inspections of overhead utility infrastructure to identify faults and hazards.
  • Performing advanced data analysis to ensure high standards of accuracy and data quality.
  • Overseeing QA/QC processes for work packages and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Providing feedback and contributing to process improvements.
  • Working closely with internal teams to align data accuracy with industry standards.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in the electric utility field. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of industry standards, such as the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), are also required. Other key qualifications include the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Tools and Environment:
The successful candidate will have access to GIS software for utility asset mapping and analysis, data management tools for cataloging and reporting, and communication platforms for collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders. Industry-standard reference materials, including NESC and engineering guidelines, will also be available.
