About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our global team. This role requires hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining complex data solutions using Azure services, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and performance.

The successful candidate will lead end-to-end implementations, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and drive best practices in data engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement scalable data pipelines and integration solutions, including working with data from SAP and Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with external service providers during solution implementation.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Machine Learning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across various functions and geographic locations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-8 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with a focus on the Azure Data Platform.
  • Strong proficiency in:
  • Azure Data Lake
  • Azure Databricks
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Azure Machine Learning
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse, data lake, and lakehouse architectures.
  • Hands-on experience integrating data from enterprise platforms such as SAP and Salesforce.
  • Relevant Azure certification: DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer Associate) or AZ-305 (Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions).
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and cloud-based ETL development.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Familiarity with DAMA data management principles is an advantage.
