Content Strategist Job Description

Job Title: Content Strategist

As a content strategist, you will create and implement effective digital marketing-related content that resonates with our target audience.

You will be responsible for researching, designing, writing, proofreading, editing, and publishing captivating and useful content that aligns with the tone and voice of the business across different social nodes.

The ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled, and imaginative writer with an eye for detail and a deep understanding of brand guidelines.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Review case studies, banner ads, text ads, display ads, and video scripts to ensure there are no grammatical/spelling errors and maintain high editorial standards.
  • Edit and proof work to ensure consistency in language, formatting, and readability.
  • Create compelling headlines and body copy for ad units, paid and organic posts that capture the attention of the target audience.
  • Review communication trends for the U.S. market based on the target audience to create creative copy and captions that meet specific objectives.
  • Develop engaging content for advertising campaigns, website material, social media posts, email marketing, and other channels.
  • Use research to establish the appropriate strategy for reaching out to the target audience and identify customers' needs.
  • Recommend new content to address gaps in the company's current content and formulate and integrate keywords for Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Maintain an editorial calendar for clients and continuously feed it with fresh content ideas.
