Senior Software Quality Assurance Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance Professional to join our team. As a key member of our software development life cycle, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop test plans, strategies, and test cases based on project requirements and technical specifications.
  • Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test scripts to increase test efficiency and coverage.
  • Identify, document, and prioritize software defects using standard bug tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot issues, verify fixes, and ensure all defects are resolved prior to release.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely impact existing product features.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Extensive knowledge of software testing processes, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall), and industry best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, etc.).
  • Proficiency with issue tracking and test management tools (e.g., GitHub Issues, Jira, Zephyr, TestRail) and version control systems such as GitHub.
  • Familiarity with API testing, performance testing, and security testing techniques and tools, such as Postman, Selenium, etc.
