Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Electrical Engineer with proficiency in AutoCAD and a strong understanding of electrical systems design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems and components using AutoCAD software to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and diagrams in compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct electrical analysis and calculations to support design decisions and optimize system performance
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations by conducting regular audits and risk assessments
  • Review and approve technical drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Manage and coordinate project activities, timelines, and resources to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering with a focus on design and development
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software for creating electrical drawings and schematics
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in design and documentation
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
  • Experience with other engineering software and tools, such as simulation and modeling software
  • Knowledge of renewable energy systems and sustainable engineering practices, including energy efficiency and conservation
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
