Accountant Role Overview

TOA Global is seeking a highly skilled accountant to join our team. As a senior accountant, you will play a critical role in preparing and managing tax accounts, working papers, and annual tax returns for clients.

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex tax issues while collaborating with client managers and accountants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, working papers, and tax returns in compliance with Australian Taxation Office regulations.
  • Utilize accounting software for financial accounts and tax returns.
  • Manage client data and documentation via OneDrive and Outlook, complemented by PDF editor tools.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Provide expert advice and troubleshooting on tax-related matters, including income tax obligations and deductions, capital gains tax calculations and strategies, goods and services tax compliance, and business activity statement preparation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CPA or CA qualification.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Australian tax accounting, with proven expertise in tax compliance, regulations, and strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Xero accounting software, Xero Practice Manager, OneDrive, Outlook, and Excel for reporting and data management.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tax concepts clearly and professionally.
