Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage financial records and support accounting operations. This role is ideal for an organized individual who is proficient in accounting software and has excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately categorize transactions using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a regular basis
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial spreadsheets and reports
- Prepare invoices and manage accounts receivable/payable
- Organize receipts and financial documents in a secure manner
- Assist with payroll and expense tracking
- Perform general administrative tasks, including email management and data entry
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant with a focus on bookkeeping
- Proficient in accounting software, including Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in bookkeeping, accounting, or related field
- Experience working with clients in the U.S.
- Familiarity with project management tools, such as Asana or Trello
