Job Description

We're looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to lead key engineering and product decisions, actively shipping production code for the Speechify iOS app. This individual will work within a dedicated product team, participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap, and maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience working on products that scaled to a large user base.
  • A track record of working on various products from inception to decent traction, responsible for engineering the product.
  • Customer obsession, ensuring every team member whose responsibilities directly impact customers is constantly focused on providing the best possible experience.
  • Product thinking, making thoughtful decisions about the evolution of your product and supporting internal teams and designers in taking the right direction.
  • Speed, working quickly to generate ideas and knowing how to decide which things can ship now and what things need time.
  • Focus, understanding how and when to engage or be heads down in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Technical skills in Swift, SwiftUI, Multithreading Programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git.
