Developing innovative mobile applications requires a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise. As a senior software engineer in this role, you will work closely with clients to design and build high-performance applications using React Native.

This position demands significant experience with React Native development, as well as a deep understanding of mobile app lifecycle, memory management, and performance best practices. You must be proficient in state management solutions, such as Redux Toolkit or Zustand, and have expertise in integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and multitasking skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities. They will also have a deep understanding of versioning control tools, particularly Git, and be familiar with accessibility standards and internationalisation.

In addition to these technical requirements, the successful applicant will have practical experience delivering projects in an agile environment and be able to work collaboratively with distributed teams to deliver secure, high-quality applications.

The Role
  • Design and Development: Design and build high-performance applications using React Native.
  • Technical Leadership: Collaborate with distributed teams to define structured practices and take responsibility for personal technical quality standards within the project team.
  • Data Solutions: Design and implement data fetching and persistence solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Application Optimisation: Optimise application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
  • User Feedback: Collect feedback from users and clients, and develop solutions to address their needs.
  • Client Analysis: Assist with analysing client requirements and working with Technical Leaders to execute project plans.
What We're Looking For
  • Senior React Native Experience: Significant experience with React Native development and a proven track record of shipping production applications.
  • Technical Expertise: Expert knowledge of React Native architecture, navigation patterns, and performance optimisation, as well as proficiency with platform-specific implementations (iOS/Android) and native module integration.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and multitasking skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities, empathy, and people skills.
