Senior Software Developer

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our product engineering squad and help build a modern messaging platform.
This role offers high autonomy, allowing you to own the continuous delivery of high-quality solutions to customers. You will work closely with product teams to develop innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop secure, reliable, and well-tested code while focusing on customer satisfaction.
- Be proactive in improving technical approaches, programming, and ways of working.
- Have the ability to learn fast and implement solutions as Proof of Concept or actual implementation.
- Adapt to customer needs and fix production issues as they occur.
- Collaborate with team members for code reviews, documentation, and complex bug fixes with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.
- Participate in end-to-end delivery of work from design and architecture to production deployment and support.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality software to customers.
- Commercial hands-on experience in NodeJS/Typescript programming.
- Experience across the tech stack including software architecture, frontend development, backend development, database systems, and test automation.
- Hands-on commercial experience with NodeJS, TypeScript, Microservices, AWS Serverless, REST APIs, Docker.
- Passion for clean and beautiful code and best engineering practices.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex issues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, and other related fields.
