Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Backend Engineer to join our R&D team. This is a standalone role where you will take ownership of designing and implementing backend architecture, building scalable services, and managing deployments/DevOps.

This position requires a high level of technical expertise, with strong proficiency in one or more modern backend languages, solid understanding of databases, APIs, and microservices, as well as hands-on DevOps experience.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience and be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement backend architecture for scalable and secure systems.
  • Build APIs and services to support data processing, integrations, and real-time applications.
  • Manage deployments and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability across systems.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate backend solutions with various applications.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more modern backend languages: Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask) – preferred; Node.js, Go, or Java – also highly valued.
  • Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), APIs, and microservices.
  • Hands-on DevOps experience: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
