Embedded Linux Solution Developer

We have an exciting opportunity to expand our expertise in mission-critical industries by enhancing our Embedded Linux capabilities.
Our team is looking for skilled Linux experts who possess extensive knowledge in distribution packaging, software design, system debugging, and bringing customer ideas to life.
- Engage customers during presales to gather requirements and explain Canonical technology solutions.
- Develop comprehensive proposals to address the needs of prospective clients.
- Participate in the delivery of select projects related to Embedded Linux solutions.
- Communicate market requirements to key stakeholders and contribute to the development or refinement of generic solutions to unlock market potential.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with the following skills and qualifications:
- Fluent Mandarin speaker willing to travel to China regularly.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Extensive experience with Linux distributions – Debian or Ubuntu preferred.
- Distribution/Packaging expertise (deb, rpm, ...).
- Solid embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot...).
- Proficiency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet commitments.
- A personal drive to continuously learn and grow.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time for customer meetings, company events, and conferences.
Additional Qualifications
Experience with customer engagements is a significant advantage.
