Planning Drawings and Layouts Specialist

This is a full-time remote position that requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Planning Drawings and Layouts Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in CAD tools and a keen understanding of space planning, building elevations, and architectural layouts.

Responsibilities
  • Create precise planning drawings, elevations, and layout plans using CAD and other design software to meet both aesthetic and regulatory standards.
  • Interpret architectural sketches and design briefs to develop full construction-ready plans that maximize space efficiency.
  • Collaborate with architects, planners, and contractors to revise and improve drawing packages while ensuring all drawings are aligned with UK building regulations and planning guidelines.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in architectural planning, CAD drafting, or design layout development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent drafting/design tools.
  • Strong understanding of UK planning processes, zoning codes, and building regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and visual presentation of technical documents.
