Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the accounting cycle, ensuring timely and accurate financial statement preparation in compliance with U.S. GAAP standards.
  • Conduct monthly and annual closing processes, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Administer accounts payable and receivable, ensuring efficient processing, payment of invoices, and collection of revenue.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, both federal and state, and ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.
  • Develop and monitor internal controls and policies to ensure financial data integrity and security.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial practices.
  • Participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting, providing insights and analysis for strategic decision-making.
  • Implement and optimize accounting software and systems to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Provide financial analysis and reports to management, highlighting key trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

You will act as a financial advisor within the organization, offering guidance on financial best practices, expense management, and investment opportunities.
