Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Australian taxation laws and regulations, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
  • Review and reconciliation of financials, including data entry.
  • General accounting procedures and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Tax Accountant in the Australian tax system.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA/CA qualified or willingness to study preferred).
  • Exceptional written and verbal English business communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices.
  • High-level Excel skills.
  • Working knowledge of Xero, Xero Tax and XPM.
  • Keen attention to detail, time management and accounting administration skills.
