Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

This role focuses on accounts receivable and cash posting across banks and internal platforms, ensuring accurate payment allocation and receipt verification.

The position also involves centralizing AR functions and integrating high-volume acquisitions into a shared services center, with support for Shared Services and ongoing cash reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash posting from various banks and financial institutions.
  • Daily posting from multiple lock boxes.
  • Monthly or weekly cash to accounting reconciliation.
  • Designing a complete reconciliation process around the lock box process.
  • Reporting on cash receipts and volume.
  • Updating and maintaining customer remittance information when reviewing remittance details.
  • Performing account reconciliations, investigating and resolving inquiries or discrepancies.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers, billing department colleagues, and account managers.
  • Setting a regular cadence of reporting to direct supervisor.
  • Coordinating with account managers and senior management to resolve customer complaints or payment issues.
Work Setup / Schedule
  • Remote work arrangement.
  • 9 PM – 6 AM (PH time).
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, including collections and contract management. Industry experience in IT services is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems like Microsoft Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, and ConnectWise.
  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); Skilled in Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, goal-driven, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with problem-solving abilities; committed to high-quality customer service; collaborative team player.
