Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Reporting Insights Lead to join our team at weSource Management Consultancy Firm. This role will lead a new function for Health and Benefits: H&B Planning, Reporting and Insights (PRI). The primary focus of this team is the H&B GSD teams.

About the Role

  • The Reporting Insights Lead will manage a team of data analysts who work on SQL, Python, SSIS, MS Excel, and Power-BI.
  • This individual must have experience defining and implementing business-centered performance metrics across a diverse range of processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are required, particularly the ability to translate between business requirements and data analytic solutions.
  • Operations forecasting, capacity modeling, and planning skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of developing stored procedures, functions, views, and T-SQL programs.
  • A working knowledge of application QA and testing procedures is also essential.
  • Good documentation of end-user-developed applications is critical.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Reporting Insights Lead will validate technical specifications based on functional requirements.
  • This individual will ensure that processes are set up to support debugging of solutions/applications in test and production environments.
  • A strong proposal toolset will be used to improve the reporting process and stakeholder experience.
  • The Reporting Insights Lead will set up robust processes to maintain and repair existing management reporting/analytics applications.
  • Collaboration with risk and compliance teams is necessary to ensure appropriate controls on data and solutions/applications.
  • This individual will drive consistency in data methodology, tools, and thinking across operations.
  • CoP (center of practice) activities include publishing learnings from various initiatives to enrich intellectual capital in the organization.

  • Support managers and team leaders in implementing planning and reporting within their teams.
  • Maintain regular performance reporting and dashboards across all core delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects requiring data analysis or reporting skills.
  • Produce ad-hoc reports and insights in response to specific queries or emerging trends.
  • Support operations leaders in resource allocation, workload management, and strategic decision-making.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying problem areas, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Continuously improve reporting and analytics processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
