Tax Compliance Specialist


Job Description

The Tax Compliance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing tax filings, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This individual will work closely with the finance team to manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and support the overall financial health of the organization.

The Tax Compliance Specialist will be required to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. They will also prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

This role requires a strong ability to connect with people, understand their needs, and provide exceptional customer service. The Tax Compliance Specialist must have excellent analytical and organizational skills, as well as high attention to detail and accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or tax preparation
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal tax regulations
