Job Title: Tax Compliance Lead

We are seeking a seasoned tax professional to spearhead our compliance function.

This role will work closely with partners of the firm to oversee the preparation of tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

  • Direct staff in managing tasks and reviewing tax returns prepared by the team.
  • Prepare and review complex individual and business returns.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior team members.
  • Communicate directly with clients to obtain missing information and provide updates on their tax returns.
  • Able to respond to notices received from tax authorities.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required.
  • Deep knowledge of US Federal and state tax laws and regulations is essential.
  • Experience with tax forms 1120, 1120s, 1065, 1040, 1041, and non-profit returns; preparation and review is a must.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products is necessary.
  • Preferably experienced in preparing returns in ProSeries.
  • Ability to manage a team and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills are a plus.
