We are looking for a seasoned Financial Controller to lead our finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire financial accounting function, including general ledger processes, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee key financial activities, such as monthly project costing, departmental reporting, and R&D tax rebate submissions.
  • Enhance our financial systems by driving continuous improvement of financial policies and procedures, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Manage external relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and consultants, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Highly experienced finance professional with a strong background in supporting Australian businesses.
  • Bachelor degree in commerce and/or accounting, along with CPA qualification (or equivalent).
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager, preferably with international operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll and GST legislation.
  • Proven experience managing offshore teams and building relationships with stakeholders across a business.
