Job Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Paraplanner to support our financial planning team.

The ideal candidate will have experience preparing Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs), conducting product comparisons, and performing strategy modelling in areas such as superannuation, insurance, and pensions.

The role primarily involves supporting senior financial planners by providing research, analysis, and documentation to ensure seamless client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive SOAs and ROAs in line with compliance requirements.
  • Conduct product comparisons and strategy modelling for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
  • Assist in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) for property investment.
  • Utilize financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation.
  • Work closely with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients.
  • Ensure all financial plans and recommendations comply with regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate client records and liaise with advisers to refine financial strategies.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a paraplanning role is required.
  • A strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements is essential.
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic is necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial strategies effectively are required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with financial advisers is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required.

This is a remote role that offers flexibility and autonomy.
