DevOps Infrastructure Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain robust infrastructure and automate processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using automation tools like Ansible.
  • Collaborate with the development team to deploy and maintain web applications using PHP and Python.
  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of RESTful APIs for seamless integration.
  • Set up and manage monitoring systems like ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
  • Work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and other stakeholders for smooth integration and deployment of software updates.
  • Implement security best practices, conduct security scans, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Maintain documentation for systems, applications, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements
  • Good understanding of REST APIs and JSON, and demonstrated experience using Postman.
  • Fluent with Excel for importing, exporting, and manipulating data.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts such as switches, access points, and VLANs.
  • Basic experience interacting with virtual machines and ESXI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with programming languages like PHP and Python.
  • Basic understanding of infrastructure automation tools like Ansible.
  • Knowledge of monitoring systems like the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) is a plus.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in their development and consumption.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
  • Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
Soft Skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
