We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Cloud Development and at least 3 years of professional experience with Python.

  • Proficiency in Web API architectures, REST (highly preferred), SOAP, or GraphQL is required.
  • At least 2 years of programming experience working with Cloud Architecture and Platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Experience working in a serverless project and with development working with databases is necessary.
  • Knowledgeable in Clean Architecture and OOAD (Understands the concepts behind).

The successful candidate will design products following coding standards and Agile development methodology, tools, and release processes.

They will develop microservices following specifications, estimate level of effort during sprint planning, evaluate open-source options of similar technologies and offer suggestions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop specifications and solutions with attention to system integration and data management.

This is a full-time position following the standard Manila schedule.
