Senior Automation Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description: Senior Automation Quality Assurance SpecialistKey Responsibilities:- Design and develop automated tests in a web-based environment using automation tools and scripting tools such as Selenium WebDriver and/or any automation tools.
- Review requirements and participate in architecture/design reviews with an emphasis on test automation strategy and enforcement of excellent coding standards.
- Create and enhance test automation frameworks and suites as necessary.
- Analyze business requirement specifications and translate them into automated test cases.
- Ensure that system releases conform to customer and development specifications, supported by Test Summary Reports and Acceptance Test Certificates.
- Review automated test scripts and reports created by team members.
- Provide valuable inputs on improving processes within the client and arising from system-related changes.
- Bachelor's or College degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least two years of working experience in Manual Quality Assurance and/or testing.
- At least five years of working experience in Automation Quality Assurance.
- Professional knowledge in programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C, C#) and shell scripting.
- Experience in Selenium-based WebDriver tooling, specifically WebDriverIO and back-end (API Testing).
- Working knowledge in different types of testing, both white box and grey box testing.
- Working knowledge of test automation framework (BDD, KDT, DDT) and backend automation framework (Postman, SoapUI, Rest API).
- Working knowledge of database technology (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB).
- Ability to create a Master test plan.
- In-depth understanding of Test Design Techniques, QA methodologies, and SDLC (both Waterfall and Agile Methodologies).
- Extensive knowledge of QA testing tools, different test approaches, standards, and processes.
- Exposure to business operations related to manufacturing, distribution, and financial operations will be an advantage.
