Job Position:

The position entails handling a multitude of financial responsibilities, including daily receipt processing, monthly bank reconciliation, and bank account administration. It also involves managing term deposit investments, communicating maturity schedules, generating financial reviews, and reports.

Candidates with a degree qualification in accounting or a similar discipline, accompanied by at least 4 years of relevant experience, are highly desired. The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical and analytical skills, along with excellent organizational, time management, data accuracy, and attention to detail abilities.

  • Process finance inquiries (tickets) using Freshdesk
  • Perform daily receipting, monthly bank reconciliation, and bank account administration
  • Manage term deposit investments and communicate maturity schedules
  • Generate financial reviews and reports
  • Prepare and manage monthly cashflow forecasts
  • Conduct year-end financial checks and accrual journal entries
  • Prepare the financial year budget
  • Issue contribution levies to owners as needed
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors on audit queries
  • Onboard and offboard new/lost business
  • Prepare and review quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS)
  • Prepare and review yearly tax statements
  • Update Management Agreements, including system updates and fee corrections
  • Review bot exception reports and complete tasks manually
  • Coordinate and manage Body Corporate loans
  • Provide information to various parties (e.g., Executive Committee, Strata Manager)
  • Attend virtual finance meetings with clients if required
  • Manage miscellaneous on-charging to owners (e.g., utilities, parking)
  • Process payroll and superannuation for building managers employed by the Owners Corporation
  • Investigate and process ad hoc bank deposit recalls and dishonoured payment incidents
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification in accounting or a similar discipline
  • At least 4 years of accounting experience
  • Experience in budget preparation
  • Strong understanding of financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Experience reviewing financial statements and communicating results to stakeholders
  • Proven account reconciliation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience in Income Tax and BAS desirable
