Business Analyst - Data Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data systems management, business requirements documentation, and stakeholder communication. Strong technical skills, including proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques, are essential.

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing the current and future business environment, gathering and documenting business and client project requirements, and developing comprehensive business requirements documents. You will also present detailed requirements to stakeholders, obtain consensus and buy-in, and review and evaluate proposed solutions for alignment with business and customer needs.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Product teams to design and implement solutions that align with the company's data-led strategy. They will assess and manage the impact of requirements on data systems and business processes, support development and testing, and ensure adherence to change control and change management procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Analysis, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data systems and management
  • Proven success in business and quality analysis roles involving complex project delivery
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing abilities at all organisational levels
  • Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., user stories, process flowcharting, requirements documentation)
  • Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Familiarity with project management and change platforms (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Open Project, Azure)
