Job Summary:

WHR Global Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team for a solar power plant project. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical systems, specifically in substations, and will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of substation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and review electrical layouts for substations in solar power plants, ensuring compliance with local standards and safety regulations.
  2. Conduct site assessments, provide recommendations for equipment, and oversee the construction and installation of substation equipment.
  3. Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems within the substation.
  4. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of substation equipment to ensure optimum performance.
  5. Review project specifications and drawings, ensuring timely and accurate implementation.
  6. Coordinate with other engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the successful completion of substation work within the scope, budget, and schedule.
  7. Conduct inspections and ensure all work complies with safety protocols and industry standards.
  8. Provide technical support and solutions during the project and operational phases.
  9. Prepare reports, including progress, testing, and commissioning results, and present them to stakeholders.
  10. Assist in managing project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  11. Ensure quality control and project documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
