Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Professional to join our team. As an Associate Accountant, you will be responsible for handling full-cycle bookkeeping and providing valuable insights using your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.

You will have a minimum of 3 years experience in accounting, payroll, and financial statements. You will also be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and have familiarity with full cycle bookkeeping.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with learning new systems and software (QuickBooks Online, Receipt Bank, Yardi, etc.) and have experience with cloud-based bookkeeping software (QBO, XERO, etc.). They will also have strong people skills and a team-player mindset, as well as great communication skills both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day record keeping used for management reporting and other analytical reports.
  • Management of A/R, A/P, and/or invoicing.
  • Assist in client planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Preparation of client's monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, month-end close processes, journal entries, monthly reconciliations, financial reporting, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with full cycle bookkeeping.
  • Ability to learn new systems and software (QuickBooks Online, Receipt Bank, Yardi, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud-based bookkeeping software (QBO, XERO, etc.) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
