Senior Accountant Job Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to take on a leadership role within our finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations and leading the accounting team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Onboard new clients and allocate them to the right Accountant.
    • Ensure the timely delivery of services to clients and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
    • Assist in onboardin gnew team members and provide support to help them settle into their roles.
    • Review monthly financial reports for accuracy before submitting them to clients.
    • Monitor client channels to guarantee clear communication.
    • Verify that Accountants meet performance targets and assist in workload management.
    • Collaborate with other Managers to resolve issues promptly and escalate them to senior leaders as necessary.
    • Provide feedback to senior leaders on systems and suggest improvements.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • 3-7 years of experience in accounting or finance.
    • Proven supervisory experience (e.g., leading a team, overseeing accounting functions).
    • Experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close, audit support, and financial reporting.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
    • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Dear, XERO).
    • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
