Role Summary

We are seeking an individual to join our team in a Store Cashier role. This position involves performing basic math functions, operating registers and scanners, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include balancing the cash register, generating reports for credit and debit sales, handling exchanges and refunds efficiently, and maintaining an accurate cash drawer. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and people skills, as well as computer literacy and attention to detail.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or any 4-year course
  • Background in cashiering with POS experience
  • Ability to provide quality customer service
  • Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
Job Functions
  • Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change
  • Operate registers, scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals
  • Balance the cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales
  • Accept payments, ensure prices and quantities are accurate, and provide a receipt to every customer
  • Handle exchanges and refunds quickly and efficiently
  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer
