Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic FX Risk & Treasury Specialist to join our team.

This role is critical to managing the company's exposure to foreign currency fluctuations across multiple markets and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • FX Risk Monitoring: Track and manage the company's foreign currency exposure across all markets and suppliers.
  • Obligation Forecasting: Maintain accurate forecasts of incoming and outgoing foreign currency flows to support cash flow planning and risk management.
  • Hedging Strategy: Work with senior finance officials on appropriate hedging strategies (e.g., forward contracts, natural hedging) to minimize FX risk in line with the company's risk tolerance.
  • Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile FX transactions and provide regular reporting on FX exposures, gains/losses, and hedging performance.
  • Bank & Partner Management: Maintain relationships with financial institutions to ensure competitive rates and service levels.
  • Compliance: Ensure all FX activities comply with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to FX risk management processes, systems, and tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of foreign exchange markets, financial instruments, and hedging techniques.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with multi-currency environments—ideally in the travel industry.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling; experience with treasury management systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive approach.
  • Professional certification is an advantage.
  • Experience working with global suppliers and payments platforms.
  • Familiarity with accounting treatment of FX gains/losses and hedging
