About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Training and Capacity Building for Nonprofits to join our team at Evident Integrated Marketing & PR. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management & Client Relations:
    • Manage training projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
    • Lead internal and external meetings with clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
    • Draft work plans, meeting minutes, and oversee administrative processes related to training projects.
  • Training Design Research, Development, and Implementation:
    • Develop education and training courses on communications, including marketing, social and behavior change communication, and their corresponding components.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of Evident's products and services and how they align with client needs.
    • Analyze training needs and requirements to improve existing curricula and develop new ones.
  • Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop a training strategy and implementation plan for Evident's clients.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of completed trainings and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Skills: Excellent training and facilitation skills, strategic insights, oral and written communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills, empathy, ability to relate well with others, and interact professionally and effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in training and development, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
