Key Financial Specialist

As a Key Financial Specialist, you will be responsible for managing comprehensive financial management across multiple channels. This includes handling multi-channel online sales accounting across platforms (Amazon, Shopify, direct-to-consumer), preparing monthly financial statements, and providing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records across all accounts (AP, AR, payroll, inventory, amortizations, etc.).
  • Perform monthly audits and reconciliations to ensure clean books and identify errors or inconsistencies.
  • Prepare accurate monthly P&L statements and comprehensive financial reports for management review.
  • Provide monthly financial analysis highlighting trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or growth.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in financial management with a strong understanding of GAAP principles.
  • Prior experience working with eCommerce clients is essential.
  • Solid grasp of inventory accounting, amortization, and cost recognition methodologies.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data into actionable business insights.
  • High attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy in all financial work.
  • Independent work style - comfortable working autonomously and proactively solving problems.
