Front End WordPress Developer Position

The primary focus of this role will be on designing and developing the user interface of our website, with a strong emphasis on modern web development best practices.

About the Role
  • Collaborate with our team to build robust web applications that meet business needs and technical requirements.
  • Transform app designs into front-end code using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Work closely with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases.
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design principles.
  • Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Manage search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to enhance online visibility.
  • Develop high-quality, scalable, and reusable code to support long-term project goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4+ years experience in developing responsive, cross-browser-compatible websites using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with popular JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, GSAP, and Bootstrap.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, including semantic elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIA standards.
  • Experience working with CSS preprocessors like SASS, Less, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS.
  • Expertise in Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and Gutenberg page builders.
  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics and Tag Manager for data analysis and tracking.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Experience with build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack for efficient project management.
  • Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration and prototyping.
  • Cross-browser compatibility testing expertise.
  • Responsive web design experience.
  • Familiarity with W3C and WCAG html standards.
