Job Opportunity: Business Continuity Management Expert

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will serve three primary roles: BPCM Cluster Head, BPCM Lead for a related business entity, and BPCM Workstream Program Head.

BPCM Cluster Head for Related Business Entity Teams:
  • Mentor to BPCM Leads within the cluster and/or other BPCM Leads as may benefit from the Manager's experience and knowledge
  • Support and backfill BPCM Leads within the cluster
BPCM Lead for an RGM Business Entity:
  • Conduct standard Business Continuity Management Activities
    • Partner with business, enabling, and governance groups and provide guidance throughout the end-to-end Business Continuity Management Journey:
      • Business Impact Analysis/Business Continuity Planning:
        • Validate and synthesize BIA results, contingency plans, and critical resources. Communicate BIA results with unit heads and relevant verticals.
        • Business Continuity Plan Testing & Exercises:
          • Communicate BIA results with unit heads and relevant verticals. Provide guidance and recommendations on contingency planning. Assist in facilitating plan testing and exercises, conduct post-mortem reviews, and complete after-action reports. Report results and escalate issues and action items.
          • Consolidate and synthesize unit BCPs to an entity-wide BCP.
        BPCM Workstream Program Head:
        • Serves as the primary program management lead for a Business Continuity Management subject matter or area (Governance, Documentation, Training & Awareness, Exercising, or Audit & Compliance).

The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of Business Continuity Management Systems and the Business Continuity Management role. Excellent strategic, problem-solving, analytical skills, methodical decision-making, and result-oriented approach are essential. The candidate should also possess self-motivation, proactivity, adaptability, critical thinking & analytical skills, excellent communication & presentation skills, program management skills, project management skills, and accountability.
