
Strategic Business Growth Manager

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing business opportunities and driving growth in the company.
Job Responsibilities- Establish strong relationships with customers through regular visits and communication, identifying opportunities to increase product distribution.
- Develop business plans to accelerate successful kitten recruitment and deliver key performance indicators that contribute to overall company growth.
- Transfer Royal Canin's health nutrition knowledge to pet owners through trade partners, creating education plans to increase sales.
- Visit breeders and shelters regularly, gathering market intelligence to provide to management.
- Ensure targets are met by consistently delivering successful puppy/kitten recruitment and net sales value; build forecasts on demand from customers; optimize value and promotional metrics to add to customer value.
- Conduct regular field audits to ensure compliance.
- Create continuous education plans to increase breeders' and shelters' capabilities through scientific and business education.
- Analyze territories' potential and develop prospective customers to meet account coverage, distribution, and active account targets.
- Update individual scorecards and conduct quarterly business reviews with immediate supervisors to adjust action plans.
- Identify training needs and schedule sessions with the Scientific Communications department to organize trainings and workshops.
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or equivalent.
- Breeding certification or experience as a breeder/kennel/cattery is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- 1-2 years of experience in a multinational consumer goods company, preferably in nutrition, veterinary, animal, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Sales and customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a valid driver's license, willing to travel extensively.
