Job Opportunity:

This position focuses on developing and implementing tailored cybersecurity protocols to support clients in their security journeys.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with vCISOs to execute elements and projects within a comprehensive security program
  • Work directly with clients to understand their operations and develop customized security policies and procedures that align with their organization
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Kobalt's security education platform
  • Design and deploy phishing tests for clients regularly
  • Provide compliance audit readiness support as required
  • Implement, manage, and provision Vanta or similar GRC platforms for clients
  • Develop innovative tools and techniques to streamline human-intensive tasks
  • Document best practice procedures for commonly used technologies for standardization of deployment
  • Identify system misconfigurations and provide recommendations for clients, offering assistance where necessary
  • Capture regular metrics highlighting key activities, measurable accomplishments, and blockers
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in Security Technologies, Information Security, Business Resilience, Technology Risk, or related fields
  • External-facing client experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and internal audiences
  • Understanding of cybersecurity domains, including Security Operations, Security Engineering, Information Risk Management, etc.
  • The ability to articulate secure best practices of various aspects of information risk management in the context of people, processes, and technology
