We are seeking a highly skilled automation professional to join our team.

Job Summary

This position will be responsible for delivering and mentoring other members of the team, ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through rigorous manual and automated testing.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with leads to provide support and recommendations regarding testing approach impacting other teams
  • Effectively communicate with management and delivery leads
  • Conduct presentations to cross-functional groups on test solutions delivered
  • Represent technical area and IT on cross-functional enhancements and projects, including issue resolution
  • Own triage process
  • Act as Regression Coordinator across teams
  • Ensure IT principles & values are followed
  • Monitor Delivery Team metrics and drive improvements
  • Drive team members to suggest ideas for innovation and ensure follow-through
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior members to enable contribution
  • Provide out-of-hours support for incidents
  • Coordinate test efforts with affected parties
  • Contribute to Performance Feedback
  • Participate in technical analysis and design review sessions
  • Lead bug and metric review meetings for stream
Manual Testing
  • Actively monitor and ensure sufficient test coverage, initiating reviews as required
  • Design test implementation and produce supporting documentation
  • Continuously review test approach of the team to identify issues and drive improvements
  • Independently lead complete delivery of multiple projects
  • Contribute and perform test coverage reviews
  • Organize regression activity of the team and own status reporting
  • Lead complete delivery for a large project(s) with minimal support
Automation
  • Conducts regular peer reviews and source control PR approvals
  • Maintain, update and fix CI Implementation, regularly implementing process improvement in CI Architecture
  • Consolidate CI Execution Results and communicate issues to stakeholders
  • Engage in discussions with stakeholders regarding Automation Coverage and new opportunities for Automation
  • Adapt to different test automation technologies and lead proof of concept initiatives
  • Mentor junior resources on how to implement test automation and shares best practices
  • Contribute to overall architecture of the automation framework, seeking ways to implement process improvements
  • Drive self to become SME for test automation and contribute to development of other team members
Requirements
  • 5+ years of solid experience in application QA/testing
  • 2+ years of QA leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing practices
  • Ability to ensure accountability and communicate effectively with diverse teams
  • Proven record of driving results and engagement, while supporting team objectives
  • Expertise in creating, planning, and executing test strategies and test plans to promote quality in all aspects of delivery
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelining for deployment
  • Hands-on experience with QA tools like Provar and automation frameworks
  • Exposure to performance testing and monitoring
