Operations Manager Job Details

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of facilities, buildings and equipment within your area of responsibility.

  • Ensure provision of products according to specifications and customer requirements
  • Determine production priorities in order to guarantee delivery in due time
  • Implement occupational health and safety standards for all assigned personnel in cooperation with corporate HSE sections
  • Maintain, operate and ensure availability of equipment and utilities in designated areas of responsibility
  • Enhance efficiency and capacity of equipment and utilities, as well as operational procedures
  • Comply with legal and other regulations in facility, building and equipment operations, as well as employee job safety
  • Supervise personnel, plan and develop staff for designated areas of responsibility
  • Prepare budgets for designated areas of responsibility and monitor compliance
  • Monitor schedules and deadlines
  • Support management teams in SCM strategy development and implementation
  • Take on roles such as QMR/HSE/5S Lead/Hygiene & FMEA Lead
  • Support SEA management for local PLM management

Required Qualifications and Competences:

Relate university degree in engineering or professional technical education and training or appropriate vocational training

6 – 10 years progressive experience in production and SCM or related fields

Manufacturing industry experience
