About the Job

As a Safeguards Specialist (Social), you will be responsible for supporting the operations department in safeguarding compliance by providing expert advice, building capacity, and advancing the development of safeguards policies within developing member countries. You will partner with clients, NGOs, and development partners to coordinate responses to issues related to safeguards implementation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee the performance of junior team members and provide clear direction and regular monitoring and feedback on performance.
  • Ensure ongoing learning and development of junior team members.
  • Contribute to the evaluation, improvement, and distribution of ADB's safeguards policies.
