About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring production operations, designing efficient processes, and ensuring high-quality standards are met. They will analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement technological advancements to increase productivity. Additionally, they will oversee production personnel, design facility layouts, and develop instruction manuals. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for this role, as well as proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) platforms and SAP software.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor production operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency.
  2. Design and optimize production processes to meet quality and productivity standards.
  3. Analyze data to inform decision-making and implement technological advancements.
  4. Oversee production personnel, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  5. Design facility layouts and ensure they meet safety and ergonomic standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and supply-chain management principles.
  • Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Just In Time (JIT) strategies.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Data analytics skills and experience with CAD platforms and SAP software.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
