Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accounting and Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team.

  • This role involves ensuring periodic reports are prepared and submitted to government agencies, including PEZA, BIR, SEC, PSA, and LGUs.
  • The ideal candidate will also ensure all government permits and licenses are renewed within the prescribed date.
  • Timely submission of tax returns is another key responsibility.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing PEZA Forms 8105 for new purchased equipment and ensuring their timely submission.
  • Maintenance of records and compliance with regulatory requirements is essential.
  • Additionally, the role involves assisting in the reconciliation of intercompany accounts and the enforcement of collection of delinquent accounts.
  • Proper monitoring and closing of unliquidated advances is also a critical aspect of this role.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and providing supporting documents as required.
  • Assistance in providing reports to the Head Office as requested, such as KPI reports, is also expected.
  • The successful candidate must ensure that issues invoices are properly substantiated with primary evidence such as contracts.
  • Supporting external auditors with schedules during annual and interim audits is another key responsibility.
  • The ideal candidate should stay up-to-date with newly issued regulations and passed laws affecting accounting and tax compliance.
  • Submissions and preparation of accounting reports to the central office as needed is also part of this role.
  • Ongoing support and assistance with ad hoc tasks as assigned is expected.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) or related finance/accounting degree.
