Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, including refrigeration systems.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing of Cold Room using Polyurethane Insulated Sandwich Panels (PU Panel)
  • Preparing designs of Freon/Ammonia Refrigeration System and selecting valve and pipe size
  • Participating in technical reviews of refrigeration system requirements, specifications, designs and codes
  • Creating AutoCAD models, including pipe raceway, P&ID, machine assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM) to support fabrication and project installation
  • Working with senior and fellow engineers to develop alternatives and options for completion and further development of projects
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related field such as refrigeration, designing company, contractor, or engineering department of refrigeration industrial plant
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD modeling and drawings with experience in Refrigeration Design
  • A deep understanding of refrigeration system principles and cycles
  • Good foundation in Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Refrigeration Cycle
  • Hands-on experience with installation of PU Panels and Refrigeration systems is a plus
