Job Overview

The EHS & Maintenance Assistant Manager role entails overseeing plant operation maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Maintenance Execution – Reviews and approves PM changes; recommends strategy revisions.
    • Facility Systems Management – Ensures continuous supply and system reliability (fuel, power, water, air). Recommends upgrades and ensures compliance with facility codes.
      • Safety and Environmental Compliance – Identifies compliance gaps and establishes corrective policies. Oversees legal reporting, permit renewals, and system improvements.
        • Occupational Health and Safety Commitment – Promotes OH&S system effectiveness and legal compliance. Conducts risk assessments and investigations, and implements corrective actions.
          • Audit System Implementation – Conducts regular audits and addresses findings from authorities.

Qualified candidates must have a graduate degree in Chemistry or Engineering, preferably Chemical or Mechanical. A minimum of five years of experience in plant maintenance and environment & safety is also required. PRC Licensed Engineer or Chemist certification and Safety Officer Accreditation are preferred.

Other key qualifications include strong planning and project management skills, collaboration, attention to detail, and proficiency in data analysis and report preparation. The ideal candidate will be willing to work on early morning shifts and extended work hours.
