Senior Software Quality Tester

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with in-depth knowledge of software testing principles and strong critical thinking skills.
The ideal candidate should be adaptable, analytical, and able to work independently in a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Test Strategy & Prioritization: Develop well-reasoned test strategies considering product risks and customer needs; apply risk-based testing and prioritize logically.
- Manual & Exploratory Testing: Manage test cases, execute, analyze requirements, identify edge cases, and feature decomposition.
- Technical Testing & Tools Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in web debugging tools, proxy tools, mock data, error handling, database analysis, API testing, logs analysis, and server issue debugging.
- Self-Sufficiency & Decision-Making: Show independent problem-solving skills, ask relevant questions, analyze information beyond pattern-matching, and make informed business-technical decisions.
- Process Improvement & Collaboration: Effectively manage test cases, improve processes, and collaborate with stakeholders for high-quality releases.
- 6+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in SaaS or tech environments.
- Strong theoretical knowledge of QA methodologies, test types, and test design techniques.
- Ability to self-organize, think critically, and prioritize testing based on risk and user impact.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, issue trackers, and test case management tools.
- Experience with test automation and scripting for API/UI testing.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools.
- Exposure to cloud environments and distributed system testing.
- Experience with simulators/emulators is a plus.
