Chief Cybersecurity Architect

Job Description:

Azeus Systems Limited seeks an experienced Security Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in Red Team activities, including penetration testing of Web and Mobile applications across various platforms (iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac).
• Owning the vulnerability management lifecycle involves identifying, remediating, and reporting security weaknesses.
• Active monitoring and detection of operational security risks within the organization is crucial.
• Conduct thorough technical investigations on security incidents and tools.
• Liaise directly with users on security-related enquiries and concerns during Pre-sales and Support phases.

Collaboration with Blue Team:

• Work closely with engineering and DevOps teams to implement security best practices.
• Implement and improve workflows to automate vulnerability detection as part of the software development lifecycle.
• Review and assess risks and patches of software components used in applications.
• Facilitate threat modeling as a key component of the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to security awareness training initiatives.
• Help implement necessary controls for different certification bodies such as ISO 27001 and SOC Type 2.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in application security testing and assessments.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, standards, and protocols such as OWASP Top 10 and SANS Critical Security Controls.
• Experience with application security tools like Burpsuite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, Sonarqube, with expertise in Ghidra or IDA being a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C/C++.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like bash or Powershell.
• Knowledge of cloud solutions and architectures such as AWS.
• Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and a sense of ownership.
• Technical and industry certifications like CISA, CISM, CISSP are highly valued.
