Job Overview

The role of Hydrological and Hydraulic Engineer is pivotal in the design, analysis, and implementation of water infrastructure projects.

To excel in this position, an individual should possess a strong foundation in hydrology and hydraulics, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive hydrological and hydraulic analyses, developing and applying models to simulate water flow and flood risks, designing and evaluating hydraulic structures, and preparing detailed technical reports.

Candidates are expected to hold a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Hydraulics or a related field, with proven experience in hydrological and hydraulic engineering.

  • Conduct thorough hydrological and hydraulic analyses to support project designs.
  • Develop and apply models to simulate water flow and flood risks.
  • Design and evaluate hydraulic structures such as channels, culverts, and stormwater management systems.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, including hydrological assessments and hydraulic calculations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Hydraulics or a related field.
  • Proven experience in hydrological and hydraulic engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in hydrological and hydraulic modeling software.
  • Exceptional written and oral English communication skills.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is advantageous.
